In this video, we approach the challenge of managing costs while running Kubernetes workloads - specifically, exploring how to configure your Kubernetes cluster to auto-scale your deployments and manage costs, availability, and performance based on a prescriptive schedule.
Using this pattern, and harnessing the power of the CronJob construct, we demonstrate how to automatically scale our deployments on a customized schedule, potentially scaling down to zero replicas for maximum cost efficiency.
